The
New Learning Centre |

Founded by Noël Janis-Norton,
The
New Learning Centre, has developed the
Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting programme.
During the past 15 years, thousands of parents and
professionals have attended our courses and
workshops, transforming the quality of their
relationships with children. The New Learning
Centre has received wide exposure in national
newspapers and on TV. Sara and Miriam now operate as
a branch of the centre. |

Chachamu |

|
Miriam, the courses facilitator, has trained at
The New Learning Centre as a learning and
behaviour specialist. She has a broad experience of
helping families who have children experiencing
learning, behaviour and emotional difficulties. In
addition to her work with individual families and
children, she develops and leads highly successful
courses and seminars for parents and for
professionals.
Miriam’s work with parents and families is based on
the New Learning Centre’s practical and effective
approach, Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting.
In addition, she uses her training and experience as
a Human Givens practitioner and as a systemic
practitioner working with couples and families.
Having three teenage children of her own, Miriam
encounters on a daily basis the issues parents face
today. She uses the skills she teaches extensively
in her own life and brings her own experience as a
parent to her work. She is inspired by the
difference that these skills make to families, and
is committed to transforming family life. She now
divides her time between The New Learning
Centre’s main office and the Hampstead Garden
Suburb branch. |

Sara Gordon |

|
Sara has been teaching children with behaviour and
learning difficulties at The New Learning Centre,
where she trained under Noël Janis-Norton. As well
as using the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting
skills in her work, she has been putting them into
practice at home with her three young children. She
found the skills very accessible and effective.
Her own personal fulfilment from this work, together
with a growing interest from local parents, led to
setting up the Hampstead Garden Suburb branch of
The New Learning Centre, together with Miriam
Chachamu, to bring these skills to a wider audience. |
